ISD Group USA at NASCC 2026 | HiCAD Steel and Facade Workflows

Engineering Without Limits: See HiCAD Live at NASCC 2026

ISD Group USA is headed to the NASCC: Steel Conference in Atlanta, and we are excited to showcase how modern steel, facade, and fabrication workflows can be engineered in one connected environment.

From April 22–24, 2026, visit us at the Georgia World Congress Center, Booth #631, to see HiCAD live in action and learn how connected workflows can help reduce rework, improve coordination, and move projects forward with greater control. As highlighted in the April newsletter, HiCAD connects design, detailing, bills of materials, CNC-ready output, and production drawings in one system, helping teams reduce handoffs and stay aligned from concept through fabrication.

One Platform for Steel, Facade, and Production-Ready Precision

At ISD Group USA, we help engineers, fabricators, and project teams work with greater speed and control on real-world projects. HiCAD is built to bring modeling, detailing, documentation, and production data together in one connected environment, so your workflow stays coordinated from start to finish. The newsletter emphasizes that this connected process supports concept development all the way through fabrication, with less rework, fewer handoffs, and more control.

HiCAD supports the way today’s teams need to work by combining:

  • 2D / 3D continuity
  • BIM-ready workflows
  • Perpetual licensing
  • Design-to-production integration

These core strengths make HiCAD a strong solution for teams looking to streamline engineering and fabrication workflows while maintaining flexibility and precision.

What’s New in 2026

This year, we are highlighting several updates that continue to expand how teams can work smarter across steel and facade projects.

Performate by Image Tool

One of the featured updates in the newsletter is the Performate by Image Tool, which helps teams move from image input to fabrication-ready punching patterns in far fewer steps. This reduces manual interpretation and helps accelerate setup for production-oriented workflows.

Advanced Cladding Workflows

HiCAD also supports more advanced cladding workflows by helping teams automate panel layouts using either custom or manufacturer-certified libraries. Complex substructures can be managed in one connected environment, helping streamline facade design and automation workflows.

Glazing and Curtain Wall Coordination

For glazing and curtain wall applications, HiCAD enables teams to coordinate curtain wall geometry, glazing elements, mullions, and transoms in a unified workflow. As the model evolves, documentation remains aligned, supporting better BIM coordination and more efficient design development.

End-to-End Design-to-Production Integration

HiCAD continues to strengthen the connection between design and fabrication by integrating detailing, BOMs, CNC-ready output, and production drawings into one system. This helps project teams improve workflow continuity and maintain greater control across deliverables.

Integration Highlight: ISD Group + Hilti

Another major highlight from this month’s newsletter is the ISD Group + Hilti integration.

HiCAD’s standard parts library now features certified Hilti components for facade substructures, helping align design models and installation decisions more closely. This reduces coordination errors and improves continuity between what is designed and what is executed in the field.

This includes:

  • Certified Hilti parts in the HiCAD catalog, including MFT-HP 200/300 agraffes and MFT-CP suspended facade systems
  • HSA segment anchor integration, including HSA-R2 and HSA-BW anchor types for structural anchoring details
  • Better design-to-field coordination, helping reduce friction between CAD detailing and on-site fastening execution

These capabilities are designed to support more accurate, production-ready workflows while minimizing surprises in the field.
